A projekt tartalmának bemutatása:
The various sectors of horticulture, through the production, processing and marketing of vegetables, fruit, nuts, grapes and ornamental plants, are a primary source of food and a key contributor to urban well-being. They also provide a range of complementary services, such as species and breed conservation, landscape restoration, soil management, landscape and garden design, construction and maintenance, and timber production. Adequate food and nutritional security cannot be imagined outside the horticultural sector, with the use of pesticides having the greatest negative impact on the fruit and vegetable sector. The overall aim of the project is to prepare horticulture teachers, practitioners and future professionals (students) to meet the requirements of the European Green Agreement. The project aims to (i) implement joint initiatives to foster cooperation, mutual learning and exchange of experience between the four partners and (ii) develop, transfer and implement innovative practices in the field of horticulture education in the light of the European Green Agreement.
