A projekt tartalmának bemutatása:
On 1 February 2023, the project "FOOD Quality in Digital Age", supported by the International Visegrad Fund, was launched. The consortium of five universities is led by the University of Life Sciences in Lublin (Poland) and includes Mendel University in Brno (Czech Republic), the Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra (Slovakia), the University of Belgrade (Serbia) and the Hungarian University of Agricultural and Life Sciences. The primary objective of the 18-month project is to promote knowledge sharing in the V4+ region (Visegrad countries and Serbia) on the digitalisation of agriculture, with a special focus on food production. The objective is to create an international research and education network by integrating the expertise and practical experience of the five regional universities. The future extension of the cooperation with local and regional organisations will contribute to increasing the efficiency of agricultural production and processing in our region, better serving consumer needs and reducing food waste. As part of the project, the partner institutions will organise modules over several days to demonstrate the digitisation techniques they have researched and applied. The programme will also include short professional and academic training sessions for researchers and PhD students from partner institutions. In order to achieve the project's objectives and to strengthen cooperation between universities, the modules will be delivered in person.
